Note on SB 970: The filing schedule below is tentative and assumes a March 2022 primary election. However, the California legislature has introduced Senate Bill (SB) 970, which would change the date of the 2022 primary election from March 8 to June 7. If this change is adopted, it will also impact other important dates in City elections, including fundraising windows, candidate filing week, and disclosure deadlines. The Ethics Commission will notify all candidates if the date of the 2022 primary election changes.
Candidates - 2022 Election
The following forms must be filed to begin your candidacy for the 2022 City and LAUSD Elections.
