LOBBYING ORDINANCE REVIEW – Consideration of
Draft Language
The Ethics Commission is
soliciting input on the draft versions of the Municipal
Lobbying Ordinance and the related amendments to the Governmental
Ethics Ordinance. If you are unable to access
the links above, the drafts may also be viewed through
our Web site, at http://ethics.lacity.org/.
Comments on the drafts may be
provided by letter, phone, email, or fax. Ethics Commission
staff will also be conducting two interested persons meetings,
for those who would prefer to comment in person. The
meetings will be held on May 18 and May 21, from 2:00 to 3:00
p.m., in City Hall Room 1025.
The Ethics Commission is
planning to discuss the drafts at their next meeting, on June
9, 2009. We appreciate your participation in this
process and welcome your input.
