The City Ethics Commission is pleased to provide this companion web page to the Conflict of Interest Code Review Resource Manual. These electronic materials are designed to provide the information and tools needed to help update and review a department’s Conflict of Interest Code in compliance with state requirements, and in furtherance of the principles and requirements set forth in the Mayor’s Executive Directive No. 7 - Governmental Ethics: Departmental Liaison, Training, and Compliance.
What you will find includes detailed information about the revision process in a step-by-step format. You will also find forms and templates to use along the way as you revise, amend and forward your department’s Conflict of Interest Code to the Ethics Commission for transmission to the City Council for final approval.
All forms are interactive Microsoft Excel or Word documents. You will need Microsoft Office 2003 (or later) to use these forms. Please complete the form, save to your computer and e-mail as an attachment to ethics.coi@lacity.org.
