EDUCATION > Ethics and Open Government Training for City Officials
Under Mayor Villaraigosa’s Executive Directive 2006-7 and pursuant to Los Angeles Code Section 49.5.18, all City officials must participate in ethics training once every two years. The City Ethics Commission, in partnership with the Office of the City Attorney, has prepared an online course to assist City officials in satisfying this requirement.
A training session for each City department will be scheduled by the Ethics Commission once the department’s conflict of interest code has been updated.
